9 Bar Coffee Review

Score: 92 | 9 Bar

Blind Assessment: Sweetly bright, deeply floral. Carnation, caramel, orange zest, pecan, golden raisin in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with brisk, lightly juicy acidity; viscous, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish centers around notes of carnation and pecan.

Notes: A blend comprised of 50% Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Adame Gorbota and 50% Guatemala Huehuetenango Adiestso, both washed-process coffees. Pursuing its core values of honesty, kindness, quality and teamwork, Fidalgo Coffee’s mission aims high: transforming the way specialty coffee is experienced in the U.S. For more information, visit www.fidalgocoffee.com.

The Bottom Line : A complex, nuanced blend with layered depth: richly sweet, floral-toned.

Fidalgo Seacoast Blend is fantastic: Dark and rich with maple and spice nuances! We’ve subscribed to Fidalgo for a few months.
We are so thrilled to find an online coffee roaster that serves its community so immensely. Eric’s Heroes drew us in with its amazing story of Juan Manrique and Chris Hoke. Breaking the cycle of incarceration, one miraculous story at a time.

We have been using Fidalgo coffees since you had a small shop in Anacortes. Then you disappeared! So when we found you had a roaster in Burlington, we dashed over to buy direct for several years now and you are worth the drive from Mukilteo. We have a few selections on hand, but Centro is my favorite. Husband prefers a bit darker so tosses in a scoop of something else! thank you for providing the best coffee in the northwest.
